What is the EDGE Grant?

EDGE streamlines the Enterprise Development Grant (EDG), Market Readiness Assistance (MRA) and PSG into a single grant. It launched on 30 September 2026 and covers 8 business areas and over 150 activities, including automation and digitalisation.

The headline terms:

  • Across the scheme: up to 70% for SMEs and up to 50% for non-SMEs. Enterprise Singapore adds, "Support levels differ by activity. Refer to each activity for more details."
  • For the Digital Marketing activity, the published rate is up to 50% support for SMEs (S$5,000) and up to 30% support (S$3,000) for non-SMEs. The cost of that activity is capped at S$10,000.
  • Up to S$100,000 in total grant support per company each year, shared across all activities and refreshed on 1 April.
  • Grant support is paid on a reimbursement basis, once the activity is completed and full payment has been made.

For the S$30,000 digital sub-cap, eligibility and what happens to PSG, read our guide on how the EDGE Grant works.

Applications submitted for EDG, MRA, and PSG before 30 September 2026 will continue to be assessed based on the requirements of the relevant scheme. Ongoing projects under these three schemes will not be affected and will be supported until project completion and claim disbursement. After 30 September 2026, no new application will be accepted under these schemes.

For SkillsFuture Enterprise Credit (SFEC)- supported programmes under the abovementioned grant schemes, employers are required to submit the final claims by 30 November 2026. More details on SFEC can be found here. EDGE will not be supportable under SFEC.

What the S$5,000 ceiling means for scoping

In our experience the activity's SME ceiling lands one of two ways:

  • We scope a focused piece of SEO or SEM work to sit inside the activity's S$10,000 cost cap. Cleanest route, and the one we point most first-time applicants to.
  • You treat the support as a contribution to a larger engagement and fund the balance. Either way we tell you which one you are looking at before you ask us for a quotation.

FAQs

Frequently asked questions — EDGE Grant.

What is the EDGE Grant?

EDGE is Enterprise Singapore's business grant. It streamlines EDG, MRA and PSG into a single grant, so businesses apply once based on what they want to do, such as improving efficiency, entering a new market or building digital capabilities. It launched on 30 September 2026.

What happens to PSG?

PSG applications submitted before 30 September 2026 are still assessed under PSG rules, and ongoing PSG projects are supported until project completion and claim disbursement. After 30 September 2026 no new PSG applications are accepted.

Enterprise Singapore's full wording, including the SFEC claim deadline, is quoted in full above.

Who can apply for the EDGE Grant?

The applicant must be a business entity registered in Singapore with at least 30% Singaporean and/or Singapore PR ownership. Other requirements may apply, depending on the activity.

Which Outrankco solutions are eligible?

Two packages: SEO Services and SEM / Pay-Per-Click Advertising. Both are covered by our IMDA Pre-Approved Solution listing, at up to 50% support for eligible SMEs. Reach out for a scoping call on which fits your business.

How much grant support can I get?

For our packages, IMDA sets the support level at up to 50% for eligible SMEs.

Enterprise Singapore's Digital Marketing activity publishes:

  • Up to 50% support for SMEs (S$5,000) and up to 30% support (S$3,000) for non-SMEs.
  • The cost of the activity capped at S$10,000.
  • Support for all Automation and Digitalisation projects combined counting towards your company's annual grant cap of S$30,000, within your overall annual grant cap of S$100,000.
Do I have to choose a pre-approved vendor?

It depends on the activity. For activities with pre-approved vendors, choose from the list, as those vendors have been assessed for credibility. Outrankco's digital marketing packages are an IMDA Pre-Approved Solution.

Can I still use SFEC?

Applications submitted for EDG, MRA, and PSG before 30 September 2026 will continue to be assessed based on the requirements of the relevant scheme. Ongoing projects under these three schemes will not be affected and will be supported until project completion and claim disbursement. After 30 September 2026, no new application will be accepted under these schemes.

For SkillsFuture Enterprise Credit (SFEC)- supported programmes under the abovementioned grant schemes, employers are required to submit the final claims by 30 November 2026. More details on SFEC can be found here. EDGE will not be supportable under SFEC.

How long does an EDGE application take?

Processing time varies by activity, and Enterprise Singapore publishes it per activity. For the Digital Marketing activity it states: "Application outcome in 1 week."

Can I change vendor after I apply?

Change requests are only allowed for the project end date and claim due date. For any other change, terminate the existing project on the Business Grants Portal and submit a new application.

I received PSG funding before. Can I still apply for EDGE?

Yes. Businesses that have previously applied for or received funding under EDG, MRA or PSG can apply for EDGE.

Can I apply if my business is registered overseas?

No. Applicants must be a business entity registered in Singapore.

Do I pay first, or is the grant taken off the invoice?

You pay first. Grant support is paid on a reimbursement basis, once the activity is completed and full payment has been made. Budget for the full project cost up front.

Can you confirm my application will be approved?

No. That decision is Enterprise Singapore's. We can give you a quotation and explain what our packages cover; we cannot promise an outcome.

I'm already running SEO with another agency. Can I still apply?

Tell us what is running now and what would be new, and we will scope from there. Whether a project is supportable is assessed against the activity you apply under.

Two of Enterprise Singapore's conditions on the Digital Marketing activity matter here. The applicant must:

  • Not have started work or made any payment or deposit to a supplier, vendor, or third party prior to application submission.
  • Not have previously applied for grant support for this solution.
Is my Google Ads spend covered?

No. Your media budget is separate from our package fee. We manage the campaigns; the ad spend goes to Google and is yours.

Which EDGE activity does digital marketing fall under?

Digital Marketing, an activity under Automation & Digitalisation → Single-function Digital Solutions. Its page carries the rate, the caps, the eligibility conditions and the processing time.

The list holds one digital marketing activity. There is no separate SEO, SEM or paid-search activity on it.
